I had a lovely full day of travelling, including, two first class flights and a four hour layover in Dallas.
The perks of my first class flights included:
-drinks before the plane
-all food and drinks served in real glasses, or on real plates
-warm assorted nuts were served before the meal
-hot towells were distributed with tongs before the meal
-there was a meal to speak of
-I got to rest my feet on the wall in front of me
-They knew my name
I've been on fancier first class haha, but it was alright
I got some new sunglasses and a smoothie in the airport in Texas, they have small, square, pink frames
I rode their monorail (I felt like I was on the Simpsons, although I can relate everything in life back to that show)
I drew: 6 cups of coffee, some with my hand on them overlapping each other, some chairs and people, some clouds, my legs
I finished the Robert Hass poetry book, which I liked a lot, although when I went back to fold down corners of the poems I liked the most there were only eleven of them, I guess that's because most of his poems were just intellectual and impersonal which, proved that he was very smart and a good writer but didn't really do much for me that I could remember later. Overall I really liked that book though.
I am SO SO SO SO happy to be in San Francisco I really can't describe how much I missed it. I haven't been here since I was 10, I used to smell it all the time and feel the air and stuff.
Flying in over the bay was lovely, and seeing my father at the airport was equally lovely.
I discovered upon reading my messages that a lot of people had IMed me, including one Eric Levitz, and I would like to say to him that I am sorry that I could not reply to your messages, I was on AIM on my cell phone and that's just a bitch, but that instant decision thing at Bard sounds really exciting, I suggest we road trip and do it haha.
My Daddsy and I are staying at "The Albian House", Fillmore district etc. in San Francisco. It's an old converted farmhouse (converted by a gay couple in the 70s no less) and it has all kinds of interesting paintings all over it and a cool living room with paintings and a piano and a fireplace for everyone to hang out in.
I just hung out in the hotel all morning and I'm updating from the library at Mills college. I really wish I had a camera, it's the quintessential, beautiful California school with huge eucaliptus and palm trees, huge white and red buildings with those spanish-style roofs. There's this trail up in the corner that I'm interested in. It's really nice.
The part of Oakland is in seems interesting too, although my father and I have speculated that there are a lot of hookers here. Either way there's a really cool diner.
Earlier today I experienced something only to be described as, pure magic/sex, or perhaps, the crack-cocaine of girly starbucks drinks and that was:

I'm in love, I hope we have this on the east coast and I just never noticed it
alright kiddies I'll try to find some other college campus to update from later
